If you're the current owner of a RapidCents account and you need to transfer ownership to someone else, such as in the case of selling your business or being acquired, you must first contact RapidCents Support to determine which, if any, of the following information is changing:
Company representative or owner information (Note: do not provide new owner details to RapidCents via email; RapidCents will enable editing in your RapidCents account for this information). Additionally, you must confirm the URL from which the business is operating.
Once the above information is confirmed, you can update the following information from your Account settings: bank account information for payouts, the descriptor and phone number that will appear on credit card statements, the business information that shows up on receipts sent to customers, the email address listed as the owner of the RapidCents account, and the legal business name and tax ID.
